Your Organization's Cost and Application

The cost of this service is $1,800 for local and regional web sites and $2,100 for larger sites. Black Hills Energy may pay up to 50% of the total project costs.

About the Consultant

Mark J. James is the President and founder of ED Solutions, Inc., a firm specializing in the application of technology in the economic development profession. ED Solutions, Inc. offers economic development consulting services, training and presentations on a variety of topics and the sale of value added products to the economic development profession.

His recent initiatives include consulting on utility economic development programs, assisting in the development of economic development web sites, developing and implementing web based surveys, marketing site and building databases and assisting economic development programs with web site strategies. Mark is also a recognized instructor on the use of technology in economic development.

Prior to starting ED Solutions, Inc. Mark was director of economic development for American Electric Power (AEP), an 11 state investor owned utility. Mark's responsibilities included managing a comprehensive economic development program across AEP's service territory and directing the efforts of the System's 45 economic development professionals.
